A literary and entertainment agency working with an eclectic list of clients are looking for a Facilities and Office Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The Facilities & Office Manager is the lynchpin for the smooth running of the workplace, ensuring that the client provides a safe, welcoming, presentable and brilliantly managed workspace for all staff and visitors.

THE ROLE:
- Managing the relationship with Building Management, acting as a point of liaison for any queries, updates, or complaints
- Managing Health & Safety (H&S) within the workspace, remaining fully up to speed on all H&S requirements
- Managing and reviewing a roster of suppliers and various contracts
- Responsibility for office security and physical security procedures
- Resolving any breakdowns or repairs with office equipment and passing on IT issues to the IT team to resolve
- Acting as a Fire Warden and First Aider and managing Planned Prevented Maintenance (PPM)
- Managing all food, beverage, hygiene and stationery suppliers, ensuring that stock levels are proactively managed, replenished and deliveries processed efficiently and autonomously
- Supporting in delivering any major office related projects such as refurbishments or office moves
- Ensuring the office remains clean, presentable, safe and welcoming at all times
- Management of desk booking system and assigning desks to each member of staff in the office, accommodating 'team days' and 'potluck days'
- Maintaining and enforcing office security standards
- Leading Charity and Social Committee in annual selection of charity partner, pulling together a program of fundraising events and activities for staff throughout the year
- Organising company events such as the Christmas and summer parties including booking venues, managing budget, obtaining budget approval & on the day logistics, as well as organising regular company meetings
- Managing a Facilities & Office Management budget, ensuring that credit card bills are checked and reconciled and that spend is within budget
