A large American multinational financial services corporation are looking for an Events Assistant to join their team for a three month temporary assignment. This is an exciting opportunity to work for a diversified technology provider for thousands of global firms as an Events Assistant! In this role you will be working for global company in a hybrid working model. You will be supporting the Events Director with logistics both in the lead up to events and onsite.
  
THE ROLE:
  • Tracking conference attendee RSVPs
  • Collating company presentations and binder submissions
  • Preparing introductory remarks for presentations
  • Collating company branded material for use onsite
  • Co-ordinating with the Marketing department and the printers for event signage
  • Manually inputting meeting requests into a database
  • Monitoring and updating the master spreadsheet on a daily basis with attending company information
  • Tracking RSVPs for the event and noting dietary requirements
  • Liaising with the dinner venue on updates
  • Assisting with table plans, signage and webcast orders
  • Assisting the Events Director with all logistics onsite at the event and post-event follow up
  
THE ESSENTIALS:
  • Experience supporting events
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ideally some knowledge of SalesForce and Email Marketing Automation Tools such as Marketo
  • Self-motivated, articulate and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to multi task and assist with multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work smart in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Confident and personable with the ability to work with senior management internally, as well as senior clients both in person and via email and phone
